I'm Monika Strand, the creative working behind the scenes at JustForYouBooks. I LOVE dreaming up Personalized Book ideas for YOU. The minute I release a new book, my brain is already working on my next idea. I was born to create, and I am certain my vast background was leading me to creating children's books all along. My Story
As a life long entrepreneur, Monika Strand finally embraced her desire to be a Children's Author full time, in February 2023.

Becoming a grand parent was one of the key pivotal moments in her life that inspired her to go after the career she dreamed about as a teenager.
​
Her background is vast. She has owned a Dance Apparel Store, Coffee House, National Fundraising Company, been a ballet instructor, a Realtor and now runs her own Publishing Company, "Storyteller's Publishing" with her husband.
​
Monika knows the importance of customer service, a strong work ethic, products made with thought and love, and staying inspired, makes for a winning business combination. Fun Facts: The name JustForYOUBooks is a head nod to Monika's first business when she was 19. Just For Dance was a dance clothing store where she learned the art of high level customer service while helping dancers find the perfect fitting pointe shoes. And YES-Monika has written a book about dancing and will probably write more in the future.

If you asked Monika, "How many book ideas do you have?" She would say "About as many as my Age!! I can't create fast enough- I have so many ideas!!"
